My story: The ❤️ Behind Sammie’s Cuddle Care

My inspiration: A special bond with my Sammie🐾
My name is Xabi. Art and graphic design are among my greatest passions. I hold a double major in Graphic Design and Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago, and I have successfully worked in the field for 19 years.
My beloved dog, 🌈 Sammie, brought immense joy to my life. He had a heart condition, and I dedicated myself to his care. I volunteered and was hired as a vet tech at the same clinic by the incredible veterinarian Dr. Lushpynskyj in Parkridge, IL, gaining invaluable experience with a wide range of animal cases. (RIP) Dr. Lushpynskyj I miss working for him.
I also collaborated with talented dog trainers after I relocated to California which deepened my understanding and connection with dogs' behaviors. I founded Sammie's Cuddle Care in 2019 to honor his memory and continue his legacy.

At Sammie’s Cuddle Care, Xabi offers comprehensive pet sitting services that go beyond the basics. From the moment your pet wakes up, their day will be filled with engaging activities. Xabi will make sure they get their designated potty breaks, followed by continuous play and training sessions designed to stimulate both their mind and body. For pets that enjoy human food, she likes preparing meals specifically for them, as she did for me 🐶. Additionally, my mommie will provide personalized attention and enrichment activities tailored to meet each pet's individual needs.
Safety, comfort, and happiness guaranteed
Ensuring every pet is happy, comfortable, and safe is my mom top priority. Her background working with veterinarian and behavior dog specialists, including military dog trainer Kurk Randall, gives her a unique understanding of animal health and behavior. During her pet sitting, your dog's happiness is paramount, focusing on mind and physical stimulation through play training, recognizing when they need rest, and monitoring their comfort and confidence levels. She is also vigilant for any signs of medical attention your pet might need. 🤗
